MOSI exhibition and Unicorn
Our jute bags feature in a new interactive exhibition in the Experiment gallery at the Museum of Science and Industry.
Focusing on waste, the display looks at various solutions to reduce or re-invent waste materials, or to minimise their environmental impact. "From Vimto’s trial of square bottles, to the Cooperative’s compostable carrier bag and local grocery store Unicorn’s well-loved fabric bags, there are 20 examples of clever ideas to cut down waste".
Now MOSI wants to hear from anyone who has an idea of a package or product that helps to minimise or re-invent waste. Just write your idea down on a piece of paper and post it in a plastic bottle to MOSI, email, or come into Experiment gallery to post your message in the giant bottle. The competition will close on 15 April and the winner will receive a goody bag and a chance to visit a company with innovative environmental products.
