Chorlton Open Gardens
The second Chorlton Open Gardens event is this Sunday (24th June) 11-5 and will include access to around 20 yards, gardens, allotments and Unicorn's own Living Roof.
There will be 11 new gardens including one devoted to growing plants for dyeing, with dyeing demonstrations and one showcasing several local artists. Many of the 2011 gardens will also be open and there will also be music, refreshments, plant sales, art and a raffle on the day.
Tickets (£5) can be bought from Chorlton Bookshop on Wilbraham Road, Blossom Flowers on Manchester Road, Chorlton Plant Nursery on Vicars Road and Creative Recycling on Beech Road, and will also be available on the day outside Unicorn.
