Carey Organic Juices

In the heart of Herefordshire cider country, Carey Organic grew out of a desire to grow fruit and vegetables nature’s way.Owned and run by the Soble family the farm was established in 2004 on 45 acres of gently sloping land by the River Wye that has been cultivated and fully converted to organic certification.

Their wide range of crops and choice of varieties enable them to offer ‘in season’ produce throughout the year and with their modern storage facility they can maintain supply of stored and frozen crops.

They do not use any pesticides or chemicals and build natural fertility with compost, manure, rotational systems and green manures.

They use small polytunnels to protect their early and late salad crops and for summer favourites like aubergines, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Most of their crops are grown in the open with plenty of space to grow naturally for the best flavour.

And because they encourage bio-diversity the insect and animal life is in balance supporting natural predators and wildlife - so they are enjoying working with nature in more ways than one!

More recently the farm started to produce a range of cider and apple juice products, both of which have been selling well in the shop.
