Landlife Wildflowers

Landlife WildflowersLandlifeWildfowerShop is the trading arm of the registered environment charity Landlife, based at the National Wildflower Centre in Knowsley, Merseyside in the Northwest.

A group of ‘Wildflower farmers’ grow and supply most of their seeds and plants on a 30 hectare National Wildflower Farm in St Helens. They encourage people to use wildflower mixes of once common species aiming to create wildflower areas everywhere. Their creative conservation with native wildflowers make new wildflower habitats that are full of biodiversity and bring wildlife and people closer together.

All profits from their seed and plant sales go to supporting theLandlife Charity. Landlife works for a better environment by creating new opportunities for wildflowers and wildlife and encouraging people to enjoy them.

Landlife founded the National Wildflower Centre on Merseyside as a millennium project and separate charity in 1999.The Landlife Wildflowerscentre is an established eco-attraction and award winning centre for native wildflower heritage with over 30,000 visitors annually. It works to inspire people to take positive action for nature wherever they live. Landlife promote wildfower landscapes, learning, creative conservation and better health and wellbeing.

Landlife continues to work regionally and nationally on new and ongoing projects such as:“A tale of Two Cities: Liverpool and Manchester,” their “Grow Wild England” Landmark Project.  Their vision for the project is to deliver a unique cultural landmark in the Northwest in order to redefine wildflower best practice, turn people’s heads and hearts and inspire new Grow Wild communities.
