Kale Chips

Share

Something like the crispy seaweed you can find in Chinese restaurants - and it costs nothing compared to the pre packaged stuff!

Makes 1-2 portions, you may need to double it as it goes quick!

Ingredients

½ bunch kale leaves
½ tbsp. olive oil
1.5 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
¾ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp salt

Procedure

Preheat oven to 140 degrees.

Tear the kale from the stalks and rinse. Allow to dry. Pop them into a bowl and add the olive oil, massage into the leaves until they are coated. Add the seasonings and toss to combine.

Spread the leaves out on a baking tray, making sure you don’t overcrowd the kale. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, rotating the baking tray every 10 minutes or so.

Leave to cool for a few minutes before digging in.
