Flavoured rice milks (think almond, hazel, vanilla or coconut) go very well in this, and keep in mind that any rice milk will add to the sweetness.
½ cup porridge oats
2/3 cup non-dairy milk
2 tbsp nut butter
1 tbsp syrup maple syrup
A splash of vanilla extract
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl or container
Refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours before eating.
Try the following additions/toppings:
Fresh berries or sliced banana
Roasted Salted Almonds
Coconut Yoghurt or Oat Cream
